Bases Loaded

Need a hand?
Email [email protected] and tell us what happened, what phone you are using, and roughly when it happened. That is usually enough for us to find it.
Getting set up
- You need an open space you can move around in. A backyard, a park, a hall or a decent sized room all work.
- Stand your phone up so the front camera can see all of you. Leaning it against something at about knee height works well.
- Step back until you fit in the frame, then follow the prompt to scan yourself in.
- Good even light helps. Bright sun behind you makes it harder for the camera to find you.
The camera
The app asks for camera access because the games follow your movement. The video never leaves your phone. Nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded. If you said no to the camera prompt and want to change it, go to your phone's Settings, find Bases Loaded, and turn Camera on.
If the game cannot see you
- Move further back so your whole body is in the frame.
- Turn a light on, or move so you are not backlit.
- Give yourself a clear background if you can. Busy backgrounds make tracking harder.
- Loose clothing that matches the wall behind you can confuse the tracking.
Challenges and cards
- New challenges appear daily, with additional challenges each week.
- Some challenges are called "with a Friend". Those are prompts to go and do it with a mate in real life. There is no in-app multiplayer.
- Cards are earned through play and collected in your deck.
- The leaderboard shows your player name and score to other players. Nothing else about you is visible.
Your account
- You need an email address to register, so your progress is saved.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, or by emailing us.
- Deleting your account removes your personal information. It cannot be undone.
Devices
Bases Loaded runs on iPhone with iOS 15 or later, and on Android 10 or later. It needs a working front camera.
